Suzy the Shepherdess
Suzy the Shepherdess

All scarves are 100% wool, hand knit by me from my Suzy the Shepherdess yarn.  They are about 4 feet long and 6 inches wide, weighing around 5 ounces.  All scarves are $50.

Each one is individual.  The stripes I use are inspired by 19th century shawls, which often have a contrasting color stripe or two at the border and are otherwise a solid color.  Some of my scarves are similar, but no two are exactly the same, because I understand that having a scarf with a stripe pattern just slightly different from your pard's can be very helpful when picking up camp on a Sunday afternoon.

Both of these scarves are currently on display at the Stephenson County Historical Society Holiday Gift Shop (Freeport, Illinois) until the end of December, 2020.  You can visit the Holiday Gift Shop to purchase them in person, or purchase them online here.   The Holiday Gift Shop is open by private appointment only and face masks are required.  Visit their website for more information.
